Data we process
Talk24 processes basic account data such as username, language, profile settings, contacts, messages, channels, posts, subscriptions, wallet records and device identifiers needed for security and notifications.
Mail and store services
A mailbox is not created automatically for every account. Mail is an optional subscription service managed by Stalwart Mail Server with the same Talk24 identity.
Account deletion
You can request permanent account deletion from the Talk24 app settings. Before deletion, the app explains the impact and asks for your current password. After verification, the server deletes profile data, recovery email, device links, subscriptions, wallet data, channel data, reactions, comments and account-linked records, then runs the official ejabberd account removal. Data belonging to other users is not deleted, and limited security or compliance records may remain without your private content.
Security and retention
We use audit logs, roles, device protection, request limits and security headers to protect accounts and the platform. We may store device identifiers derived by the official Talk24 app and signing keys to manage trusted devices and enforce abuse bans on the platform or in rooms. We do not rely on the phone owner name, system phone number or device location as proof of ownership. Data is retained only as needed to provide the service, comply with obligations or resolve disputes.
